Why support the bush administration? Why do so many of our subvserive, political friends do this terrible drug? It doesn't make sense?!

Re: Cocaine is a REPUBLICAN drug
Thu, April 15, 2004 - 5:53 PMbut you're always late! maybe you should try some speed. It will get you there faster, AND you will get SO much shit done on your way to the phone - like you might punch your friend in the face, scream at an old lady, and break your elbow in the process...there that's three things!
Of course you won't be hungry, so you can get equally important things done. -

Re: Cocaine is a REPUBLICAN drug
Thu, April 15, 2004 - 6:32 PMAs the bumper stickers say, "Tweakers Suck". Coke and speed seem to bring out the worst qualities of people's personalities. Large doses induce a mental state indistinguishable from paranoid schizophrenia. The only way they can differentiate stimulant abuse from "natural" schizophrenia is by observing the disappearance of symptoms as the tweaker returns to normal when the drug leaves his system. Prolonged usage over years can make this condition more permanent.
I used to smell the speed labs as a teenager when I drove through areas of SE portland. Another time I moved in next door to a speed cook in the Santa Cruz mountains. It was easy to tell when he had finished a new batch. He had an old hulk of a car he was "restoring" (for the last 5 years). He would just grind on it and sand it for hours on end. Finally he sanded through the sheet metal in a few places. Didn't seem to phase him though. -

Re: Cocaine is a REPUBLICAN drug
Sun, April 18, 2004 - 12:05 PMCocaine usage by "progressive" people only shows their hypocrisy in a Whiter light... The Coke habit is expensive, and everyone loves to show how generous they are with how they can afford to share it with their friends, only hoping that the more people they turn onto it, the more might share it with them in return... Sick, sick, sick...
Looking into a coke-head's eyes, deeply, while they're high is a frightening experience - you can see their soul evacuating... -

Re: Cocaine is a REPUBLICAN drug
Wed, February 9, 2005 - 2:33 PMSimple. The stuff's expensive. Makes them feel rich. There
are people who will spend their last dollar on a gram of
coke and think they're wealthy people for doing so. Rich,
beautiful, smart, sophisticated.
That seems to be where cocaine is different from meth. I
don't see meth abusers on ego trips like coke users.
But then maybe I'm not up to date on the cocaine scene. In
recent years, it seems to be all meth, meth, meth. I remember
coke coming on strong as "glamorous" during the early Reagan
years, when several movie stars and other "glamorous" people
were busted for it.
Coke's about money. Republicans are about money. What
could be more simple? -
